Downers Grove-Main Street Station (also known as Downers Grove Station and Main Street Station) is one of three railroad stations on Metra's BNSF Railway Line in Downers Grove, Illinois. The station is at Main Street, from Union Station, the east end of the line.〔(Metra Railfan Tips - BNSF Railway Line )〕 The local police department is nearby. Parking lots are managed by the Village of Downers Grove. It is the third busiest Metra station outside of Downtown Chicago, only behind Naperville (second busiest) and Route 59 (busiest). The station has connections to both Pace Buses, and the Village's own Grove Commuter Shuttle. This station was the site of the 1947 Zephyr train wreck that killed 3 and injured more than 30. The station is currently undergoing a $1.1 million platform replacement project, due for completion in July 2015.〔http://www.downers.us/public/docs/Construction%20Updates/Downers%20GrovePR%20(4).pdf〕 ==Bus connections== Pace Bus * #834 Joliet-Downers Grove Grove Commuter Shuttle * North Route * Southwest Route * Southeast Route 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Downers Grove – Main Street (Metra station)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
